You don't think Brough was worth at least 6 points to you lot then?

I've played at prop, and never had to be told to run at halfbacks, given the opportunity, especially close to the try line.
I did it plenty though!
I am concerned about Korki if he had to be coached to do that, or told is was part of the gameplan?!

Thoughts on the game?
Firstly Alker
Now is the time to remove him from Dunny half. He is too slow and obvious. He needs to be used as a defensive player. Still think the club was wrong to give him the captain's job back.
Half Backs.
So it it pouring with rain so both half backs spend all game kicking a nice gentle kick through? why didn't they try something different.
Effort
I am surprised that McGillivary hasn't been mentioned in 3 pages of comments. He was one of the few to chase down kicks and make Wakefield defend.
The worst of all from Friday is how annoyed McRae made me on the way home. How can he say we played well, and competed in every area. He was watching something different to me then.
How have we developed into a penalty machine? OK some odd calls such as our pen for the player falling over (might be Henry) The TJs looked like they had been brought in from a retirement home.
Players should be fined for the number of pens given away and the money go to one of John's charities.
This comes at a time when my disillusionment with the club is at it's highest, they are treating the loyal fans like idiots with their public statements.

unfortunately after watching Warrington and Leeds on Saturday night on sky, and on three ocassions the wrong player was penalised by the Ref, so if the refs are getting it wrong,
plus Saturday night saw another glaring problem with RL when is a dummy runner obstructing? Ian Smith had to go to the video ref for a try to see if the offence had occured, so if the cameras are there it can be looked at if not it can not, a number of players know this and seem to be playing a fine line between playing and cheating which can affect the outcome of a game.

Wakey were the better side, we ended the match quite strong cant seem to make up my mind if wakey were playing for time.
Apart from that it was the usual problems, selfharming again, giving penalties, position and possession away far to easily and often.
What happened just before half time with the Korki try was horrible and criminal to say the least, but personally i cant seem to get that upset about it just like the players, just going to shrug my shoulders and plod on.
Korki was brilliant for them id have him back tomorrow, just what we need.
The players had a go, average no frills,no praise from me, turned up did a bit went home.
Will need a bit more next week if the result is to be different

I was on about our defensive gameplan, not Wakefields attacking. Yes clearly forwrads will run at half backs but shouldn't our forwards be somewhere in the vicinty? As I say they both scored next to the sticks without a Salford forward laying a finger on them.

Still nowt to do with game plan though.
McRae has clearly not said "Tell you what fellas, well have Myler, Smith and Ratchford defending in the middle of the park against their forwards".
I appreciate that Wakey shouldn't have been allowed to score under the sticks so easily, but that's do with individuals failing to hold their place in the defensive line.
As I said, it's nothing to do with game plan.
