i dont think we've had an easier win all season, we weren't even playing at 80% our potential last night,if we had you could have been looking at a severe thumping.
however like many who have been beaten by the giants this season, it appears it was the ref's fault again
very poor crowd as well, i know we didnt exactly bring thousands but crowds of 3721 must be worrying for you guys, that new stadium cant come quick enough it seems

maybe i worded it wrong, but everytime we've won this year the opposition fans and sometimes coaches have ranted about the referee,it seems we cant win without the aid of the referee

I've already said elsewhere that you were well worth the win and if we're being honest it probably should have been more. Still, it's extremely frustrating when a referee gives 2 tries that are extremely questionable (and that's being kind) and cannot seem to control a game with selective penalising of certain things.

to be fair though, in most games there are mistakes from officials as there are from players, and in most games there a few dodgy decisions which dont go your way, thats part of the game, i bet you cant remember a game where you didnt think the ref was bent etc or gave dodgy decisions?

1) No one is saying the ref cost us last night, we were shockingly bad.
2) That doesn't take away from the fact that he himself was shockingly bad as well. To be fair, I think he was bad for both teams, but he was truly awful.

To those talking of some kind of pre-match issue in the changing rooms. Huddersfield came out early; they seem to do it now and then. The the away game they came out early for the second half and did a bit of warming up. Teams are called out on the ref's whistle - it's not as if Hudds, the ref and the touch judges were all lined up wondering where we were.

Ref did not cost us the game last night (we were awful) but Thaler is the worst ref I have seen in all the years I have watched the game, and I count games not including Salford in that. I can wierdly cope with them being bent but if I was just that plain bad at my job I'd have been signing on long ago.
couldnt agree more chrismun, just read in daily mirror that justin morgan go to be on best behaviour tomorow against wigan as thaler is video ref who quote 'cost morgan £4000 in fines for a verbal assault on the huddersfield official'unquote.

one decision or none decision was the spear tackle right in front of Thalers nose, as Salford appealed for it he was shaking his head, it took the appearance of the touchjudge who was further away to get Salford the Penalty. WHY?
To be honest Hudds played only at 80% we just didn't play, the number of times I looked at the players when we had the ball and not one player was 20 yards away from the the centre of the pitch, he appeared to have no wingers or centres just half backs.
Give the young lads ago and McRae have the courage to drop some of your Holidaying mates from Aus, we might get pride back in the shirt.
Hudds did well to spend little time in the dressing room and get out of the heat in there again McRae would not have thought about that.
