All we seem to do is get second rate Ozzies .Then when we have the best crop of youngsters I have seen at the club for years we are about to possibly lose them . Something does not add up here and I for one would like answers.
BTW I mention the two other clubs as they get similar crowds to ourselves (Harlequins even less)
In Wakefield case, that’s not always the way. With a year left on his contract Gaz Ellis was offered pots of money to stay, he went to Leeds for less money, in order to win stuff, and fair play to the lad. There is constant talk of Atkins & Brough been lured away. In fact this board is similar to Wakeys, what with player retention problems, poor attendances & lack of stadium development.
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs, the people that came in. They're eating the cats! They're eating the pets!

I wouldn't know how to run a club, i'm just a supporter who questions our clubs ambition or lack of it. How have other clubs progressed over the years, like wakefield, cas and quins? We've just stayed at the same rubbish level apart from one season.
I agree with JAYMC 100% I love the club as much as the next person but some people on here wont hear a bad word against the chairman JayMC is a realist just because he has a different view its a case of all the people who oppose his opinion just gang up, bunch of tossers this is a forum after all not a who shouts the loudest wins the argument

Two of the aforementioned have been or (if you believe the rumours) are very close to going bust.
Cas have consistently managed to attract bigger crowds than us (even when they were being beaten regularly and paying a fair ticket price) thus improving revenue.
But in all cases, surely these are examples of clubs that have spent wisely and built solid squads rather than throwing big sums at players (a la Warrington).
You talk about ambition etc but you need to realise we're already punching well above our weight, playing competative rugby in the top tier. Frankly, the 3500 of us are f*cking spoilt!
