League winners, Northern Rail Cup winners, Grand Final winners, Richie Myler - National League 1 Young Player of the Year and England team full debut and Shaun McRae - National League 1 Coach of the Year! You're absolutely right we havn't done anything to merit our elevation to the Super League. Perhaps if we'd only been formed for a couple of seasons and relied on a predominantly Aussie based line-up or maybe gone into administration and won naff all then we would have been far more deserving.

What has Shaun Mcrae been voted coach of the year nat league 1 and Richie Myler player of the year, league 1 got to do with your clubs success stats.
a clubs success is judged on how many competitions it has won, inparticular the major ones, and not on how many individual players or coaches have won this that or the other personal honours, If you want to split hairs then, i could have stated the fact that we won the plate final at wembly in 1997 against Hunslet, plus like you we have also won the Northern rail cup plus been the beaten finalists one year later, and of course the league division one grand final winers against Widnes in 2006 which secured our place in super league. However, grand final apart for obviouse reasons, i dont attach any significance to the others, thats why i didn't mention them in my last post.

Ok and how do you appoint new owners?
I own my house and my neighbours can not appoint new owners same with a Rugby Club.

So what you're actually saying is that we don't have any right at all to be in Super League because unlike yourselves you've won countless more important trophies and presumably have a significantly superior stadium to ours. I am totally against the franchise system and believe that club's should be promoted or demoted based on their playing abilities and not according to the whims of the RL heirarchy. The franchise system is going to kill the game in my estimation for a large number of fans who see their teams playing week in and week out for little end gain.

You could always try and call a sharehloders meeting, if you are a shareholder of course, and try to get a vote of no confidence in the current board, thats what has happened in the past to one or two clubs and happens in business in general.
I know it isn't easy, we tried it at rovers many years ago but because of the clubs constitution at the time, it failed miserably.
We then went into administration shortley afterwards which thankfuly got rid of the dead wood (the board) and allowed us to re organise with a new board with new ideas.
i'm not suggesting you go into administration but maybe your shareholders could have a bigger say and ultimately change the course of your clubs future for the better.
