I for one am happy for the free tickets!!! I have been a season ticket holder for many years and have supported our great club for over 35 years. But I was made redundent last year and cannot afford a season ticket for this year! I had the e-mail offer from the club for free entry to the Harlequins game and a reduced entrance for tonight of £5:00, sorry but for me they can keep doing the promotions as otherwise I would not get to see any games.

No comment about the attendance tonight, you disappoint me. Is it possibly because tonight's attendance was on a par with your usual season total until 2006?

Bottom line = the club could offer a free bottle of whisky for life, a free blow job and a caribbean holiday with 10 Grand spending money, and the good people of Salford would STILL stay away!! End Of...

Or the fact you gave away vast amounts of free tickets so the actual paying attendance was not revealed, but if it was and minus the Wigan support probably another poor effort. We dont need to hand out freebies to get people in the ground we had over a 1000 more last weekend against Celtic than you had at your cup final :P

I'm sorry........... were you there?
have you got any idea how many of the people there got in for free and haw many paid? Have you got any idea how many were salford fans and how many were wigan?

Yes- the atendance was boosted by a big away support but there was a good show from Red fans too. I got in with a free ticked, that ment i could give my ticket away and the guy i gave it to bought someone else who paid full price. plus one of them said he would def come again.

It was a good promo and a good crowd. I don't think we should be embarassed about that. (maybe i should be embarressed that i can't spell but thats another story!)

Tough one this I have a mate who over the last three seasons has steadily got into watching Salford, so much so that he bought a season ticket for himself and his son this season.

Last night he said to me I wish I hadn't bought one now, firstly because it is painful to watch, secondly because he says he has had a free ticket lined up for all three home games so far this season , and thirdly because tickets are cheaper than at the box office at a local drinking hole. (said diplomatically).

Does it work I don't know ???

The fans, the members, the people there.. from the day I stepped foot onto that field at the AJ Bell Stadium,I knew I would love that club for the rest of my life. "Jackson Hastings"..
