weren't there plans to use Hamburg style ' Kombi - Seats ' ?

I'd be surprised if that was still the idea. Apparently they are more expensive than just fitting seats. As the HJ and LSV standing areas have arrived since our first plans I'd expect any standing area to be more conventional - that's just a hunch based on cost though.

20,000 seating - 20,000 capacity , could just be a typo on the add,
Could also imply potential shared use with other sports that doesn't allow terracing, or Peel Land not wanting to limit their options.

The one thing that puzzles me all about this is that this is fairly major news for your club, and the people in the area. This is something to feel good about and help generate a buzz!!

Get it out in the open and get people talking about Salford's new stadium for the right reasons. Might help with season ticket sales etc.

people will talk when the wheels are in motion and there is work goin on, hopefully soon this will happen soon and we'll all be shouting it from the roof tops.

It isn't actually a planning application, but a notice about a planning application. The stuff that we'll all get giddy about is still in the pipeline and there are very good reasons why things are being played down.

But you get where I am coming from surely... there has been little in the way of anything happening other than the club lurching from one disappointment to another in terms of partnerships and funding. The club is under close scrutiny from almost every angle.

This is truly positive news and a sure sign of commitment from Peel Holdings. I'd get it out there and shout it from the roof-tops. The only purpose of keeping this quiet is to try and avoid opposition to the plans which might cause it to stall a while, but there is surely too much of a groundswell of support now?

Id probably say i had a ladder proped up against my house and im half way up it, soon as a bit of movement come in regarding the building on the stadium ill be up on that roof singin and dancing away dont you worry

As soon as our stadium starts to get built i predict a massive serge for season tickets regardless how complicated the form and rules to get one are
