As much as I think Ratchford is a quality player, his kicking game doesn't come close to Brough's at this moment in time.

we can play a good kicking game myler is not to bad at his age same with ratchford reason why smith gets the ball for kicking is his supposed experience but just is no where near the standard brough is .

we just do not try anything different like the side kick to the wing and only the wakey player there to catch things like that.

fair enough we have a game plan but for the last few years i do not understand why we always try to play down the middle first two sets usually its off to a prop or someone from the wings will take it . same poop different day.

i felt sorry for players like Henry and ratchford last night as we saw how wakey through the ball all over the field to forwards to the wings.we need to change way we play i think we have a good set of wingers at salford but never get the ball and has bin the same for a few years.

also are speed at which we play is so slow we just through it to myler or smith then they run pop it off to any prop who is just jogging and not running at any great speed to go through the line. we need to through caution to the wind and try different things. last nite we got the ball and myler ran at such a speed as what wakey usually do we looked good but didn't do enough with the ball.

Like I've said elsewhere, once Myler's gone he should hopefully get his chance.

as a wakey fan who is often on the wrong side of the penalty count (rightly or wrongly) it was good for once for it to go the other way. it was hard to tell whether they were or they weren't fair decisions but irrespective to give so many away makes it impossible to get any momentum or field position. on the back it gives no platform for the likes of myler to take advantage of for large parts of the game. throw in your error count as well and there was no way you were going to get a result.

Fair enough. Coaching still at fault though. I know when Ferguson scored right next to the posts he was running at Ratchford and Smith, not a forward in sight, IIRC the same with Korki's try. That's gotta be down to gameplan.
