Not one of you answered any of the questions i ask, Do you think all the money raised from the sale of myler will go on players or just some of it? Did the club do enough the season after we made the playoffs to take us up a level?
And as for me finding another 7000 fans, i'm sure someone is getting paid quite a bit of money at salford trying to do that job! Is it working? £17 to get in for starters is wrong! Thats not just us but every other ground as well! £10 for concession i think, thats too much! I Know of a lot of people who dont go because it cost too much to get in to watch us usually get beat! That takes me back to my first post, we made the play offs, our attendances were slighty better that season, if we'd had spent a bit of extra cash for decent players, won more games probably, not been in a relegation battle all season, maybe crowds would of increased again!
ok, scrub the finding 7,000 fans yourself, find us an investor?
Mr Wilkinson has offered to sell his share of the club to someone who has the best interests of Salford RLFC as a priority.
Here us your chance. Like Mr Wilkinson, you will need some collateral but, from the evidence of your posts, you obviously live in a world of unlimited credit and boundless possibilities. Like Mr Wilkinson, you may expose your homes and savings to being taken from you but, again from your posts, I know you have the drive to see Salford in a fine stadium attracting 20 000 fans and making both of you huge profits.
However I feel that you may not want the criticism you direct to Mr Wilkinson. I'm sure that this can be overcome. As you have in public used your "right" to request Mr Wilkinson spend his own money, I feel that my request will lead to you spending your own.
Please now put up ....

of course i wont come in as chairman, i wish i had the money too and i would. The club can't of been running at much of a loss for the past 20+ years or JW would of been long gone and so would the club! I dont know how wealthy the guy is but he cant be that loaded for us not being able to spend the cap, which is why i persume the club cant be making much of a loss as others make out!
A Conservative average loss pa for a RL club like Salford over the 27 years JAW has been Chairman would be £100k. So the Directors in that time would have footed nigh on £3 million of debts from their own after Income Tax on their Savings and Capital Gains Tax on any second properties.
Look at St Helens - all their silverware etc and still they have a huge imbalance met by Directors.
My advice to anybody who aspires to join a Board of a RL club is ...........don`t.
