Far too many penalties conceded first half, don't know if some of that was down to Ian Smith being a bit harsh, but kicking game was very poor, credit to Wakefield who defended well and just seemed to be in the faces of Salford. I thought our big pack would grind them down, but they didn't and some silly mistakes, knock-ons, and bad decision making all added to a very disappointing afternoon out added to the total lack of atmosphere at Belle Vue, at times you could almost here a pin drop!!! :(
Just hoping for a big improvement next week against Cas
we was in control in the first half and like you said was in salfords faces, second half I personally thought that there was more time in the tackle which slowed us up, but I can live with that as long asit goes both ways to keep the game flowing.

Belle Vue can be a quite place and I expected more of a crowd today, you can make of it what you think but clubs find it very hard to play there, soulless as one of you have said  well we both have to agree that the sooner we get the new stadiums the better, thanks for all that came today and for the impeccable minutes silence, looking forward to our return to the willows and good luck with the rest of the season :thumb:

Mark Henry looks suspiciously like a centre to me ...

Cashmere reminds me of Cartwright a lot.

Smith had a bad day at the office but was made to look stupid by Sibbit on several occasions.

Parker impressed in the second half with leadership and passion.

Worst of all, the burger stall had no peas (the only thing worth visiting Wakefield for) and charged £3 for chips and curry sauce!

I am still to be convinced by Cashmere I hate to say it but he is starting to look a lot like Korkidas to me (some may take that as a positive but I definitely dont)
The lack of creativity when we had 6 repeats sets was worrying.
Still it is only our first game against real SL oppostion and there was a lot to positive about in the second half.
The less said about the first half the better

NOW THAT IS A BAD MATCH! these are the teams we should be beating whats is going on! We need to play the ball alot deeper than what we are doing! And stop but fance snap and goes in let just go back to basic and then work on these tricks!

You need to stop trying to slow other teams down to Div 1 speed then it was a joke today I couldn't believe how Smith allowed you to mess in the ruck.

Think Mr McRae will shake things up a bit. Wilshere to Full Back, Rachford maybe in for the possibly injured Smith for starters. Turner & White should also be in contention as Henry & Smith v poor today. I felt Nash was sound today and hopefully Sidlow knocking on the door again.

We are lining out far too flat. Nobody running on the ball at pace and we need to be much deeper. We are in a different League now and our very predictable 5 drives and a kick need to be changed - awful to watch.

Wakefield`s try from the face ball was a cracker and down to good coaching and practice and shows what could be done near to the line without the boring up and under seen on 90% of plays.

We are far better than you  If you had beat us today I would have been shocked. Don't think you ever looked like winning tbh.

But hope your season goes well.

Thought first half we were looking at forty to fifty even with our depleted side, you certainly looked a few yards off the pace. I think a better team than us would have took you to the cleaners.

Second half credit to the coach and players, especially your 6 and 7 who ran the show. I hope you can keep hold of Myler, but being a realist and in a similar boat to us it wont be long before a so called bigger club comes in or he wants to win trophies and or represent his country( maybe he can with Salford).

Thought number 8 had a excellent game today must go to your number 8 (forgive my ignorance but did not catch his name) saved two potential tries running back to tackle two of our backs in the second half.

Without trying to sound condescending if you play like the second half you wont be far away.
