1. We all have our idiots within our fan base
2. There were 2 idiots who couldn't handle their ale on Friday night and ended up throwing their lipstick at each other
3. Never listen to anything a Wigan fan says about Warrington fans being violent (A classic example being when there was a small skirmish in the North stand at the JJB last year and everyone in the South stand, 120 metres away, was looking at the exact area at the exact time it all happened. It all stems from 2007 when a small minority of Wigan "fans" kicked off at the HJ after Catalans knocked them out of the cup. Same thing a week later when they wanted retribution for the prior weeks complete slapping. Of course both occasions resulted in Wigan fans being shown to look quite silly.

Needless to say, ever since then, we've been causing trouble for them. All of their fans see every detail of this trouble, yet asking a Wire fan or a neutral observer tends to bring up a "What trouble?" response.

In other words, you'll all be fine and be made welcome in the town, in the local pubs and in the stadium itself

Keen not to get involved in a Wire-Wigan debate but what I will say, is that of the two teams, I've only had anything like bother off the local Wigan yoof outside the JJB. (Although I must point out that I work in Wigan and find the locals to be a real friendly bunch. What damage a bad minority can do 'ey!)

Well that's what it boils down to with any club in any sport. You'll have a very small minority of idiots. Sadly, in the world of message boards, everyone is tarred with the same brush.

The way I see it, is if you don't go looking for it, you won't find it.

Really forward to this one, :DRUNK:

Seriously though if we get stuck into them from the off and dont give them an inch we may stand a chance. Cant make my mind up whether I think Myler will have a shocker or blinder

ermmmm let me think. A blinder, he'll score no less than 4 tries IMO.

deep and crisp and even

I also remember wire & wigan kicking of at widnes last year in the semis of the cup i think? and people having to be escorted out there.

Salford Boys are in town Friday, im with a few mates who look like trouble makers because of there size & shaved heads, but they never cause trouble just it always seems to find them, they can look after themselves mind you. Im not one for causing trouble but if it happens then so be it.

Really?

You rarely talk about anything else.

It's getting pretty dull as well to be honest.

 Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

What exactly is 'fickle' about Wire fans? Even when we lost the first six last year our home average was still more than 8000. so far this season we're over 11k. A few glory hunters? The more the merrier. If you're honest you'd like a few such at The Willows.

Nothing to do with you coming from Northamptonshire a mere stones throw away from Warrington? (if you can throw 130 miles...)
