This needs to be sorted out and quick. Goalkicking is a very important part of the game now, and in tight matches can turn a defeat into a win. To throw away 12 points albeit in a friendly is very poor

As I said On another thread a couple of weeks ago it's the time of year when I suggest that we need to send the three best kickers in the squad down to Sale for a day or twos kicking coaching. There may be some biggoted types on here but even they must see that the kickers in RU are generally better in a penalty situation and most definately with kicking from hand for both distance and touch. Surely there must be some deal that the club can make with our near neighbours. Would we really want another Hodgy situation a few years ago when he Fox'd a kick wide in the dieing seconds?.

I agree some kicking coaching from Sale, but against Swinton Stef kick one that was not given but from my position behind the sticks it was def OK, perhaps we should send the touch judges to the opticians

Totally agree with a link up with Sale with regards to improving the goal kicking. I also agree that there may be many posters on here who are "biggoted". But, there are also many on here, myself included who have an educated distaste of RU. It's history, it's links with the elitest Bourgeoisie, it's attempts to undermine and destroy RL, it's arrogance and it's strong links with the national media which it uses to monopolise on its position.
