went to purchases my season ticket the other day to find out... i had to pay 50 pound on top of my 130 for my season..
the reason was because i had to pay fr a membership in order to purchases a season ticket..
ive never heard of anything like it in my life... is it me or do other people feel like there being ripped of by a club we love and follow no matter what happens season after season and to find out it is cheaper to get a warrington or wigan season ticket to watch the like of sam tomkins and matt king is beyond me

Wigan's cheapest season ticket is £181; Wire's cheapest is £171.

Neither come with a free away shirt or free Magic weekend ticket.

2 things. Firstly you have to give incentive for fans to attend matches in sh!tholes like Warrington & Wigan so I have no probs with them charging similar prices to us. Secondly, IMHO, Matt King is one of the most over-rated players I have ever seen. Maybe I've only happened to catch the games where he's had a mare but from what I've seen he surely can't justify whatever ridiculous amount of wages Wire are paying him.

You didn't have to become a member - you could have purchased a season ticket on its own at the standard price of £180 pounds (equivalent to 10 normal entry charges). Paying £50 to become a member (with free membership to anyone else in your family sharing a house with you) entitled you to a £50 discount on the season ticket.

You don't have to be a member but effectively you have no choice other than to be.

I get the impression that sales are not going well. The club have rang twice to ask whether I will be renewing.

I've been called once to renewe.

When I went in on Monday I asked if everyone had been leaving it until the last minute to renew before the early bird deadline and the girl at the club shop said that it had been very busy, although I obviously don't know how many we've managed to sell overall.

Contrary to your post, the season tickets are going very well, last w/end the shop was very very busy for season ticket sales & been informed at the club that season ticket sales are well up on last years.

AS F.L. posted above, we are one of the cheapest S/T's in super league, + the freebie's thrown in, that fans from other clubs have e-mailed Salford to say that they wish their clubs would offer the deal Salford fans are getting.
Warrington have also had a moan at the club & asked them to remove the little advert on RedPlanet re Salfords being cheaper than there S/T, so the club ARE doing something right.
