Starting watching in '89 season so unfortunately can't comment on the greats of the 70's and earlier. Really struggled to remember any top class Centres we've had in the last 20 years. McAvoy anyone??
All players I can vividly remember, and some includedfor thesheer entertainment value over the ability.
Me and are kid (TheButcher) putting the world two rights.

KEEP THE FAITH
as somebody mentioned it wasnt aknock on he was a mile offside steve blackley put the kick through and was chasing the pkck he was shoutin at phil not to touch the ball he (blackley)would have grounded it and it would have been given.

got talking to a friend yesterday and he mentioned how about a team of local locals lads that salford didnt sign so i came up with this
1 john scofiled
2 phil edge
3 vic mcdonagh
4 johhny evans
5 simon williams
6 mike clarke
7 bob chadwick
8 dave ferrar
9 steve kemp

13 phil costelllo
14 monksy
15 paul coleman coey

17 mal reddican
theseare all local lads thats slipped through the net since the early eighties anyone of these players could have walked into the salford team , but unfortunatly because they werent wiganers or aussies they were not given a chance
i've only been watching for 6-7 years so mine would be
wilshere
hodgson
moule
talau (because he is class but not seen much of it yet)
white
dunneman
myler
rutgerson
alker
stapo
adamson
coley (when his heart was in it!)
