Quality post sir
IF WIDNES DESERVE A PLACE IN SUPER LEAGUE.......THEN THE POPE IS JEWISH!
As stated in a post on this page our overseas recruitment has again let us down. I said earlier in the season that Jeremy Smith had the potential to be the worse No6 ever to pull on a red shirt and each time i have seen him since he has fulfilled that potential. He flits between anonymity and awfulness and its like we start a game with 12 men as his contribution is woeful. Cashmere also has not clicked but i am still optimistic he will come good. Henry?? well you tell me what he does. Not sure if he is playing out of position or injured but yet again another player who appears lost at present. But it is not just the overseas players who are misfiring. Fitzy has now added heading the ball clear to his ever growing repetoire(sic) of reasons not to catch a football. He is shot to pieces. Littler has been a great servant and i respect that but he is out of his depth now. Poor Myler must wonder what he has to do get players around him when he makes a break and just what in gods name is the point of our sixth tackle kick being gently lobbed into the arms of the opposition full back to allow him to make twenty yards before anyone lays a hand on him.
All in all we dont have the money to spend that we would like but someone is seeing something in players that has yet to be transferred to the games thay play in. I will be patient i will keep turning up...but its getting more and more like going to the dentist each time a match looms into view

Theres always a positive to be taken out of the game.
There is plenty of money to be earned opposing them week in week out, I reckon I will be loaded by the end of the season.
The bookies giving Wigan -10 (what your having a laugh) it was easier than taking candy off a baby...
Bring on KR..............
The fans, the members, the people there.. from the day I stepped foot onto that field at the AJ Bell Stadium,I knew I would love that club for the rest of my life. "Jackson Hastings"..

Don't get me wrong i want to se salford doing better and i want to se some results but the performance is more important to me at the moment that the results.
spot on this season is what it is about for both salford and celtic.
and the cap lock boy is expecting you to play and beat the big teams and be challenging for the playoffs.

Whoa, hang on a bit, whilst Smith hasn't actually set the world alight,he did make both of Mylers tries last night.Did you see him chase back and almost put Richards into touch after he'd knocked off Ratchford and Turner.Main problem IMO is in the 3/4's where there are 4 1st choice players missing and the lack of pace is killing us.I'm hoping for better things when White,Mcgillevary, Wilshere and Talau are fit and if Henry can play fullback I'd go with a backline of Henry,McGillevary,Wilshire,Talau,White,Smith and Myler.

Words cant describe how im feeling at the moment, its not anger its not upset its gone past that now.
Last night, there were little postitives (our kickoff routines were better, Myler looked like he was in a different time zone to everyone else at times, smiths sensational break to set up Myler for his try was great......eh we stayed in the game longer than i expected.
Apart from that there isnt anything good to say about it, the players are playing in a system where they are containing opposition/playing percentage rugby league/ boring the pants of everyone, superleague is all about doing the other team damage not covering up you own wounds.
There isnt any fiz, no invension in our team/squad, apart from Myler Mcrae has turn our team into 16 Robots, 5 drives a kick and a good chase worked in the NFP as inferior opposition will drop the ball and you will get chances but in supereleague teams are better and their completion rates are far higher as well as asking more questions of our defence.
The players are grafting but there isnt anything thats going to take us to that other level, You cant expect Myler to carry this team on his shoulders for the next 3 years, he's too young, too inexperienced and its going to stunt his growth for sure.
It just feels empty to me at the moments, the Ozzies n Kwis SS has brought over are of simular standard to what we have, they arnt rubbish but there not adding to what we have and building us up to the next level, the reason we buy these players usualy to take us to the next level is not happening, its the 1st time Ever i feel this has happened and somebody needs to take the fall for it.
Have we hit the bottom yet? dont think so. when the hooter went at the end nobody booed, nobody cheered, nobody screemed abuse it was a stunded silence, the players trudged off the field and away for another week of questions about what went wrong and who was at fault and the fans just looked at the pain and hurt in each others eyes and wondered where do we go from here.
