I fear that what was happening by the end of the Harrison era (player power and lack of respect) has done an inordinate amount of damage to us as a club and, as you rightly say, may turn out to be similar to the famed semi defeat. FWIW I don't expect us to be World-beaters, I don't actually expect us to finish much higher than bottom this year but I'll be damned if I sit here dredging up crass excuses for poor play and, what looks to me like poor team spirit and lack of enthusiasm.
As I have said, somewhere else, I will still be there on Friday hoping that we can get into first gear. It is still, and always will be, the club I love and support but what is happening is not acceptable to me personally. I accept that we all see it differently but my opinion is as valid as anyone elses who pays to watch.

But thats just salford innit, i wouldnt be amazed if we blow Quins out of the water in the 1st 15 minutes race into 20-0 and spend the rest of the game "hanging on" like we did against Celtic instead of pounding them into the ground like the top clubs do.
when given a inch they take a mile, we get the tape measure out.

Yes there was a smoke bomb/flare whatever you want to call it thrown straight after richie owen scored his second try under the sticks.
This being the reason the goal kick was delayed, i was in the WRE and saw it land on the pitch.

Items such as the one thrown on the pitch are commonly refered to as 'smoke flares' or 'smoke bombs', so i can see why the pedantry is needed to be honest, we all know the majority of salford fans would not have anything to do with such an act, its just a few mindless idiots, probably the same ones that have thrown coins at us in the past.
