It is less of a problem to postpone a league match than a cup match. (They could schedule it during the play offs, not much chance of either team making the top eight)*.

Only free weekend would depend on how Catalans do in the cup as only the semi final and final weekends are available - can't see a midweek game going down too well!

Think you can rule out semi final weekend as I'd expect Catalans to win at Batley/Swinton, and would shifting the game to Challenge Cup final weekend go down well? Or indeed what happens if the ash hasn't cleared up by then (as is predicted) and you're left with bugger all time to reschedule the game?
