So he's a competitive guy. He obviously hates losing. It's a pity a lot of other players don't have the same attitude.
Chances of him staying at Salford? Very little, unfortunately.

Its not so much that Holdsworth didn't come over to clap the fans that got on my goat. Its the fact that the team all got in a huddle at the end of the game and Holdsworth was the only player not in it. Ok we lost and lost badly and even though things are crap at the moment seeing one player (Our best player as well) just walk away from the rest of the team is really really worrying.

The Ozzies are bred that winning is the only way, a huge loss like that would have probably been a first for Holdsworth and something he was embarrased and angry about. Getting in a huddle with a load of players he probably felt did not play to a standard he expects would have been the last thing on his mind.
How many players are out of contract at the end of the season, and how many of them will want to sign a new contract or who would we want to stay, nearly nobody to be honest I doubt we'll even have a team next season, we'll just be loaning a load of players and buying players from the lower leagues :\

Malcolm Alker Karl Fitzpatrick Ashley Gibson Mark Henry Daniel Holdworth Lee Jewitt Phillip Leuluai Stuart Littler Dean McGilvray Ian Sibbit Adam Sidlow Jeremy Smith Marc Sneyd Luke Swain Willie Talau Ben Wood
Plus Tyrer and M.Smith on loan
Out of that lot I'd only keep Fitzpatrick (On this seasons form), Gibson, Henry (Probably Won't want to renew can't really blame him), Holdsworth (Miles too good for us, won't be here much longer), Swain ( Same as Holdsworth), Sidlow, Jewitt. That leaves us with a lot of work to do in the transfer department at the end of the year. Not looking good really is it?
