City - born in Gorton, which was partially transferred into the City of Manchester in 1901 and then fully transferred in 1909. A full 29 years after city were formed.

And had a higher average attendance than City every year we played there as well I believe. That can't be right though because United are only bigger because of Munich. :roll:

united have had higher average attendances than city every year since 1939, i didn't realise all those cockneys used to come on horse and cart. :D

AFAIK all cockneys still travel by horse and cart, other than Chas and Dave who are carried everywhere in sedar chairs by Pearly Kings and Queens.
