When we changed to Fridays I was against it, but now I've got used to having 2 days on most weekend to do stuff and visit places so I wouldn't personally be a fan of moving back (plus, I've saved a fortune from not spending every Sunday buying beer). That said, I do think crowds would increase - I think our biggest crowd in the last 10 years (maybe) was the Sunday home game v Leeds in 2007 - although it was an opening fixture and they always attract bigger crowds.

I'm sure some statto (KOTS) will be able to give some average crowd stats for the various steasons and game days. I'm pretty sure all our worst fixtures have been Saturday evenings.

While Sunday makes it easier for travelling fans, particularly from over the hills, to attend, I think it's poor form for any sustainable Superleague club to have to rely on visiting fans rather than attracting their own.

Sundays from Feb-May, then Friday nights for June/July/August when the weather is a bit warmer.

Although that does mean we would play Sundays in the months most likely to clash with United/City. But then again, we don't really know how much that does actually affect us.

Sunday arvo will save on the leccy bill for floodlights.
Also gives a chance for more family orientated stuff in the variety centre pre & post match.

Personally speaking I like the Friday night matches (if only for the fact that half ten bed time for a four year old and one year old means I get a lie in on Saturday morning. However I do think it hits crowds as away fans simply cannot get here. M62 is a mare on any evening let alone a Friday. But like has already been said Saturday and Sunday clash with football and cricket. I think it is a catch 22. I'm not sure how much difference it would make. Certainly would be worth ponderring.

Didnt the club say a couple of years ago that they had more corporate intrest on a Friday than a sunday? me personally would like a return to a sunday afternoon.

No, the reason we moved to Friday nights was corporate hospitality. The club get more from it on Friday nights than they do on Sundays. As said above, the club themselves stated this a couple of years ago. Hence, I doubt we'll see a return to Sundays any time soon.
