I'd say it has been a puzzling season.
There have been times when we've actually looked good - In my opinion our best performance of the season was away at Huddersfield, we controlled the whole game, made very few mistakes, played out our sets and beat a very good side. Whilst I thoroughly enjoyed the win at Leeds (and apparently was seen on the telly jumping up & down like a mad person) you can point to a few Leeds errors that normally you wouldn't expect to see likewise the win over Saints - not to take anything away from Salford, as the old cliche has it you can only play what's in fron of you!
But that's why I say puzzling - for every one of those A+ performances there have been at least two C- ones - why? Answers on a postcard to Mr S Macrae, c/o The Willows.
I also think that with a very small squad, the injury situation hits very hard - loosing White, Talau and Parker for much of the season has been a real blow.
Overall I reckon we've won about as many games as could have been expected, just that they've not been against the teams that we thought!
