This seasons results have been unpredictable , in July alone we've managed a win against saints a losses against Celtic and a gritty Cas outfit.
What has been predictable is the posts I have read on the back of yesterdays result :- Mylers fault, Smith's crap , McCrae Out , Simms out , Worst since ... etc.
it's a fans forum where it's right for people to vent their spleen so I'm not denying anyone's right to state these views.
All I have to say about yesterday was that it was a poor effort! . but I will reserve my judgement on players , Coaching staff etc until the end of the season.
We have six fixtures left , 4 of them at home , all winable , If we don't win another game we still have 6 wins more than some pundits anticipated and two more than Cas achieved last season.I trust that the players will need no reminder of yesterdays performance come Friday and some of the younger squad members are given their chances as we build for next season.
I will be there against Wakefield to Cheer them on, come what may.

Cas had 7 wins and a draw last season therefore finishing with 15 points.

Think you guys this year have been very similar to us last season. We also had great wins against Leeds and Saints but got stuffed a few times also. However, the back end of the season saw us have a decent run including handing out a couple of stuffings to Quins and Wakey :D on their patch.

Think you need to keep the faith it was always gonna be a hard season getting back up to speed. You seem to have some good young talent at the club although it looks like Myler may not be with you next year.

Add a bit more quality and there's no reason you can't be challenging for the play offs next year.

Good luck for the rest of the season and hopefully you'll bounce back against Wakey on friday ( (would do us a big favour  !!)

Not heard from you for a while.

On point 3 - some real gems have come from those comps in the past (i.e. Steve Gibson), but these days they won't get a work permit unless they've played NRL or international. The "improved" work permit rules basically mean that the only people who can get a work permit are the ones that have had a go in the NRL and whose club are happy to let go (apart from the really big money ones like King, Barrett etc).

I dont think its a knee-jerk reaction and although I love the club I,m losing respect for it due to=

1. The players not listening to SM

2. People who just stand chatting in the shed rather than getting behind the team

3. The muppets who come to away games just to cause trouble

4. I'm paying my hard earned money to watch players getting paid to show no effort.

5. The club promising the new stadium and still no sign of work being done

6. Bent referees, weak in weak out(go thru the fixture list and look at how many games a bad decision(s) has cost us, you'd be surprised)

7. Bad handling, cant keep a simple line in defence

8. Jeremy Smith

9. Lack of atmosphere

10. Fans shouting abuse at players

11. The rubbish that comes out of mcraes mouth saying it would take a while to get up2 sl speed when all the players have played sl or nrl before and we did ok in 2004 and hull kr in 2007

12. Not playing Ratchford at HB

13, People slagging the aussies off when I think Swain n Henry have been our players this year

I think what the club needs is a new coach who would become a fans favourite and a good motivator and get the city of salford out in numbers. I,ll still turn up every week but I'm just a fan who wants the best 4 the club and extremely worried at the min

Agree on points 1,2, 10, 12 & 13
The rest we've all seen at various points watching Salford over the years!
At least Ratchford is getting a game ..
