it happens all the time in Soccer at the end of the day if a player is unhappy let him go. Tapped up or not. Altenatively stick him in the reserves until his contract is up.
The problem with Offiah is that he's a lot more high profile than other agents and, as such, can manipulate things through the media as seen in this case with Myler.
Let's say that hypothetically there has been dodgy goings-on with the whole Myler situation - if the RFL came down hard on Offiah they'd at least be sending some sort of message to other agents around the league to think twice about potential underhand dealings.
