He is still in his Honeymoon period

And I was not singing the song for the record. Although that song was one more than your crowd mustered :P

Haha. Wigan = worst singers ever at home. Marginally better away (1 song).

My favourite part of the Coley chanting was the fact it took the majorty of your support half an hour to realise it had been Paul Prescott you were booing everytime he got the ball :D

They do look similar form a distance though.

As for Coley i just wish we could play Salford every week! He's had 2 outstanding preformences against you now.

he pointed his hands to a shirt when they sang it to say this is what you are missing.

To get this into perspective.... I don't think anybody actually wants him to die... and he knows that too. He will know he let the fans of Salford down and the Salford fans can't forget that. Maybe it is a little harsh... but perhaps it's the only way to get across how strongly some fans feel about his last season in a Salford shirt.

Andy Coley is great guy and we should all be grateful for the professionalism he showed in 2007.

I understand he's out of contract at the end of the season and hopefully he will be treated by Wigan appropriately.

Cant't you just "boo"? No justification for that chant whatsoever.

http://reds.originalreddevils.com/2004/ ... year-deal/

Coley turned down lucrative offers back in 2004 to stay with Salford for another three years. He showed loyalty to Salford back then and couldn't be blamed for taking up a very good financial and on field opportunity in 2008 for what is a short career.

His decision to accept this last chance offer and the fact he might have had a poor 2007 season does not warrent Salford supporters singing songs that are willing him to die.

It's pathetic.

Great numbers from Salford tonight, let's just see how many of these gloryhunters having the cheek to sing "we'll never die" and "Salford 'til I die" come back next week!

As for Coley, think the bloke is a complete C.ock, a few fans singing abusive songs is no reason to purposely provoke a large number of away fans, he knew it was tense cup game against a team who's fans dislike him to say the least, him pointing at his shirt etc could easily have caused problems, grow a pair of balls and take the abuse you are bound to recieve for behayving like a p.rick whilst you were at our club.

All together now...Die, Die...

Yes the chant was uncalled for, but lets see how you would feel if one of your players decided that because he knew he was going to another club he would put no effort in for a full season.
Remember we got relegated that year and could quite easily have not got back into SL.
Coley is a wan*er is a much more apt chant.
Boo  where do you think we are, in a pantomine.
