I'm hoping that the lack of relegation and the fact that quality players are being given the nod on an international level from 'lower' clubs means that, barring money, the lure of 'bigger' clubs will be weakened.

If we lose the likes of Myler, Ratchford, Turner etc then we are failing off the pitch and the whole idea of clubs bringing talent through will be a joke if any club with a few quid can just whisk them away.

Here's hoping that we can keep the grubby mitts of short-sighted clubs off our young stars!

Could not put it better myself

We have some pretty hot properties now and the challenge is for the club to match the aspirations of the likes of Myler Adamson etc. That is not just £££ but cup runs, play off places etc.
I am fairly confident we can do this particularly when the new ground is up and running which, i hope, will put us up there with the best the League can offer.
As for signings, my view would be that we need a top class centre. I may be wrong but i`m not aware of a stand out back in the academy that is ready to step up. Might be a case of putting all the eggs in one basket, but a top line International centre would be very nice and would be a pointer to the clubs ambitions and help to keep the likes of Ratchford Myler etc.

it really f##ks me off when other teams supporters start talking about which of our good players they would like at there club! feel like giving them a dig and telling them to f##k off! ha I really hope we can keep hold of them all though.

From what i remember yes, because leuluai was taken off the quota, and stapleton was downgraded because they signed contracts before the new rules were announced

the last 4 are quota players and the first 3 are non-federation trained
not to sure where the last 2 come under quota rules
