I'd say Smith was odds on fave for that at the moment.

As for the Parker situation fully agree that it's way out of order that he is getting abuse over the floridagate scandal. He's doing the best of a very crappy situation. Alker is clearly not giving up the reins easily as can be seen on the pitch. Parker deserves more respect than that IMO

San, well said Alker is still pulling the strings from behind the scene & it is clear the appointment of Parker he is being made scapegoat for all the trouble Alker caused pre-season.
Alker is by far the best play to put on red shirt this season & for many a year, but the club need to look quickly what effect all the trouble pre-season & him loosing the captaincy this season is effecting the team.

You don't need to be a rocket scientist to see this one is still rolling, the club needs to sort it out quickly, it is still the talk on the terrace.

Sometimes the club needs to be bold & no one man should be bigger than the club but this needs sorting & quickly.

If Alker is as loyal and faithful to the club as he says he is he needs to do more than just play well each week. Its time in my opinion for him to become a man and accept his punishment instead of acting like a spoilt child. He should be showing the other players he is 100% behind Parker instead of trying to prove he is a better captain than Parker. Help Parker out by all means as this is a new role for Rob but stop taking over every game. If as Alker says he loves our club surely he can see what damage is being done by having 2 captains on the field, the players loyalty is being divided and therefore performances on the field are being affected. Yes Alker stayed with us when he could have moved on and yes he has been a great servant for our club but once again he needs to prove his loyalty.

COME ON MAL TIME TO STAND UP AND PROVE YOURSELF. PUT THE DUMMY BACK IN AND GET ON WITH IT.

That in my opinion is not the answer as Mal appears to be one of our better players at the moment. It could also have the effect of splitting the camp even more with players loyalty being tested even further (and yes its possible it could go the other way). For me the answer is in Mals hands and he needs to sort it out now before its to late. Would hate to see him leave the Willows under a cloud like some other players who I will not name.

Was stood near the tunnel as the players came off and for some reason Alker was roared off while Parker was getting a load of abuse. Can't see what he has done wrong?

our over sea players are shocked at the level off abuse given by( a minority not all in) the shed..to any of the players

Irrespective of how poor the team is this season the booing and scapegoating of Rob Parker is disgraceful. If Mr Alker is behind these problems by way of whatever went on in Florida he should be dropped. The schism in the team is so clear that it is a joke and if Mr Alker is involved in this, as many say, then it is time that decisive action be taken, Parker is neither the culprit nor the cause of these problems.

Abuse for one particular player is silly - however, I don't see Parket taking the reigns. If he isn't talking to the players, there must be a reason. Last night Mal only started shouting when it became clear no one else was going to.

Going off last nights performance something is seriously wrong in the camp and a very much doubt its individually either one of these players fault. [/b]
