Moving on to the centres, here's a list to start off with.

Aaron Moule
Andy Johnson
Andy Kirk
Francis Maloney
Jason Nicol
John Wilshere
Jordan Turner
Jason Webber (I think he was this decade)
Kevin McGuinness
Kris Tassel
Mike Hancock
Stuart Littler

Anyone significant missing? I've left off Talau as he only made a handful of appearances last season.

POLL ADDED - you can vote for two

It's a toughie if you ask me.

Littler's been the mainstay of the side for the whole decade so he gets my vote. I can't decide on a 2nd. I don't really rate any of the others.

Think it has to be Moule and Tassel for me,

Tassel was shockingly underrated in my eyes and was a very classy centre who seemed to do everything with the minimum off fuss but maximum of results which is pretty similar to Moule, i'd personally love to see the pair of them in there prime still playing for us this season.

What about Scott Naylor? Who can forget that performance putting the pies out of the cup and casting a pall over the Wigan area that lasted for years!!!

But Stuart Littler MUST be in the team of the decade - ONLY David Watkins has scored more tries for Salford from the centre position - I would'nt mind being second to him!

But he only made made a handful of appearances for us in this decade after returning from Bradford, and they were way short of his performances of the 90s.

Apparently played 25 times for us in 2004 & 2005, scoring 12 tries.

May not have played in the centre though?

Seem to remember him playing in the second row and on the wing?

Can't imagine too many voting for him though TBH?!

 Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

Exactly - I know he played in the 2000s, but I don't think he's a candidate for centre of the decade by some distance, unless someone wants to give reasons. The only things that stand out in my mind are the slow motion run away at Cas and being run down over 25 metres by a Swinton player when in the clear in a friendly.
