Delighted for Myler obviously but I'm also pleased Shenton from Cas has been selected, imo Shenton is now showing the potential to go all the way to the very top in the British game.

It should make Fridays clash between him and Sam interesting again.

Sam's 2 - 0 up so far this season.

It can only be good for the game to have the "young uns" challenging both the established players and each other.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

Could have somthing to do with the fact Tomkins is playing in a team full of internationals?

While obviously it's great that Richie's been called up, Offiah will probably be seeing £££ signs again and use it to continue to ask for even more money in the event of any contract negotiations.

Good young player. He reminds me of Paul Newlove

Yes from what I've seen of Shenton on TV this year his defence has really improved and he's bulked up a bit. He's got pace and he's handy at both defending or attacking a high kick.

The backline has got plenty pace, something sadly lacking in last years World Cup.

Oh dear

It shouldnt exactly be difficult for him with the squad Wigan have compared to the squad that Salford do. If Tomkins was in the Salford squad and playing as he has the last few times I have seen him then he wouldnt even be getting selected. Talk about overhyped.
