Absolute laughing stock and a terrible decision.
Lets just hope that now the mistake has been made that any foolish behind the scenes cack ends and rugby is the only thing that people are concerned about around the club.
Got a sneeky feeling that at some point in the future what exactly has gone on will emerge and some peoples stance on this will prove to have been unwise.

I can see both sides of the argument here.... but overall.... I think I'm pleased for him to be back doing what he does best.
Rob Parker was never the right choice of captain.... mainly due to his playing roll. At Bradford and Warrington he was always used as an impact player, and I still see this being his best roll. Whilst he was captain there was a need to start him.... I hope this now changes.

short term i see it as a good move and hope the squad responds in a positive way.also glad to see rob parker still has an important role to play as well.Think we may see a lot better from him now the pressures off a little.lets hope for a much improved performance against saints and put the jacksonville thing to bed now.

My comment on the decision .... has made the board & coaching weaker, either it was the wrong decision in the first place or they have capitulated to the changing room junta, either way they've been made to look stupid!
Hopefully now the players will concentrate on their performances. Notice they have moved Rob Parker ' sideways' installed as Club Captain, with Alker as ' Team Captain ' .
Will our fans now dispense with their boo boy attitude to Rob Parker who seems to have handled these events with great dignity.

The line from McRae about Parker being instrumental in bringing Malcolm back to the role is a classic - In other words after all the unjustified sh*t Parker got last Friday it's obvious he's gone to McRae and said f*ck this Captain's job for a game of soldiers!
I don't like knocking the club because it only makes matters worse but we really must be the laughing stock of rugby league! From the fans to the players to the coaching staff to the directors. . .we are a joke of a club at the moment!
