As good as the front row was (Cashmere, Alker & Stapo), and it was very, very good for me the one man that really stood out and it's been mentioned that when he left the field he was really missed is the Swaindog (That is apparently his nickname in Oz? ) I thought he looked good in the pre season games but Friday night confirmed my initial judgment, it looks like we've got ourselves a quality loose forward.

I'm with KOTS on this and say Swain was the stand out man for me, showed some classy touches and was like a 2nd hooker at times. Lets hope that the big lads up front cotton on to his off loading skills as they could cause some serious damage.
Me and are kid (TheButcher) putting the world two rights.

I went for Jeremy Smith because it was his home debut and he created two fantastic tries with really creative passes. Thank the lord, at last we have a decent, creative ball player in the team!
Alker looked lean and sharp, running well from dummy half and working hard in defence. He was a close second but I didn' t go for Malc because he spent a large part of the match off the field.
