I've just started to trace my familyhistory and ralise I come from a long line of poor Salfordians all based round Hanky Park. I intend to try to find the areas and see what is left so this could be interesting.

Hanky Park now Salford Precinct, nothing left really, apart from two groups a folk band Hanky Park and Shinny's mod Hanky Park, had both groups on the radio a few years back in a sort of battle of the Hanky Park Bands
