With the revelations in Sean Long's book about his betting habits and the story that in one game in particular he placed a wager to say the first score would be a drop goal. I am wondering if anyone can think of a player or game where the home team went on to get thrashed but not nilled as a player slotted a drop goal in the very early stages of the said game???

The score was 0-0 before he kicked the dg and we wereplaying well. If memory serves, before the dg Pail Highton had a try dissallowed. An incorrect decision.
Anyway, I wouldn't want to waste the opportunity to call Offiah a nOb
