I'm sure it was mentioned a full minutes silence would be done prior to next friday's game, I mean how do you forget to do a minutes silence for anyone before a game this sums up the present state of the club, Ron derserves better than that.Disgusted and disgruntled.

The club is a mess how do you forget a minutes silence? needs a complete shake up from top to bottom.

The guy with the mic said there should have been a minutes silence at the start but the club had "cocked it up". Nice.
At least Ron will have seen better times in his 50 years watching the club.

Not quite that easy to do the above. Was informed clubs just cant hold a minutes silence off their own back.
The club apparently have to get permission from the R.F.L. & then inform the refs prior to the game & then obviously the coaching staff, players & the opposing team, which I have been informed was all done, but for some reason it didn't carry onto the field prior to kick off.

I did apologise to the family present, who were quite understanding.

As I have posted, the family are going to scatter his ashes on the playing area late September. When a definite date has been finalised I will post on here & if anyone would like to pay their respects would be welcome & I think it would be nice to have a contingent of "Salford Fans" present to let his family see that Ron can be remembered with dignity.

May I apologise as it was only during the last few seconds on the minutes silence that we Wakey fans realised something was going on.
