It is and we as a sport need to be a lot diverse than we are now and tap into potential player pools from people from all backgrounds

How diverse should we be - Australians,Kiwwis,Fiji,Welsh,Irish,Scottish,French,Russian,American,Tonga,German,African,Danes,Papua new Guinea,Samoa,Italy,Jamaica,Lebanon,Greece,Cook Islands,Wheel chair,Gay,Disabled,Woman,Christians,Muslim, over 60s,70s and more. (I will have missed a few)
Any one who wants to play the game can.
This is just a few diverse of religion, ability, colour, etnicity etc etc.

There is no other sport in history to welcome any one to play the sport and in my view still is.
All I am saying is it is there to be played by any one at any time.
I just dont like how we have to have a special place for certain people,we are all the same and should be treated as such.

Special place? What the heck does that mean?

It's cute to reference all the different nationalities playing the game but the reality is the game doesn't have many Asians involved within the game. Whether thats players, Administrators or fans.

If this can help to get more Muslims playing the game then that is a good thing. Simply by saying the game is open to all isn't enough.

There are not many Chinese playing the game we should target them aswell that is not being cute just being factual.

All I have pointed out is that someone has said we could be more diverse but I think we are,I also think any one has the chance to play the game if they want to and do not need any help to play.
It is their choice if they want to play,no one is any more special than another.
You cannot possibly argue against that.

You are obviously missing the point about getting more British born Muslims involved in the game at all levels.
Sometimes people need a bit of encouragement to join a sport if they don't play it at school.
My school didn't play Rugby League, but i had some mates who did and i went along with them

I am not missing the point, all I am saying we as a sport are very very inclusive of all types of people,it is ultimately upto the individual to play the game.
What I am saying is no one but no one should get special treatment.

By all means introduce the game as we always do and then let them choose.
Here is one for you Lenny Henry said that not any black people was at Glastonbury why is that,is it because they dont want to go,should we start to bus them in maybe create a panel to get more to go should we create a panel to get more Whites at a rap concert or even the MOBOs.

My school played Union I chose League because a local club played League-this was my choice.
