In my opinion, the battle for the wing and centre could be interesting with Reed, Atkins, Hardaker, Yeaman, Briscoe, Welham, Ratchford, Foster, Charnley, Jones-Bishop etc all battling it out.

How can you possibly pick a team for autumn 2013 in autumn 2011?

I'm not having a go and I know (hope) it's just a bit of fun. We often moan that the national side has been picked on reputation rather than form so surely something like a 2013 WC side should be picked at the end of the 2013 season.
Maybe an alternative idea would be to use this thread to highlight players you think should be in with a shout. For me Sinfield, Morley and Peacock are finished. The Burgess brothers, O'Loughlin, Lee Mossop, Chris Clarkson should all be in serious contention. I like the look of Lomax, Makinson, Clarke, Arundel, Makinson and a good few others which is why I'm positive about the World Cup.

Plenty of young lads there with massive amounts of promise. They need to play as much Super League and international rugby as possible in the next two years. I've contacted the RFL, RLEF and RLIF asking about the 2012 international calender. Hopefully it won't be too long before I get a reply.
