Does anyone else think it's crap? The music makes it sound like it's a ballet dancing competition. When the RU 6 nations is advertised it's all grunt and high intense themed.

I noticed this morning on Breakfast news the complete and utter lack of info regarding the CC final, yet thw WRU world cup, which the Beeb are not covering, got one hell of a mention!!
Are the RFL, Leeds, Warrington totally incapable of promoting the game?

Or maybe it's just that the BBC are too incompetent to even be bothered about living "the small northern sport" a mention?
Warrington have promoted the game pretty well, they've got posters up in rail/tube stations around London etc.

True, he's not often good with facts staring him in the face. However he's right about the Womens Rugby World Cup. This has got consistent coverage by the BBC and other media for some reason known only to them. I've seen/heard coverage of this on: BBC News - several times BBC Breakfast show BBC 3 news things in between family guy Radio 5 Live - several times
and its covered live on Sky Sports.
How the BBC have the nerve to cover this "event" in such a fashion whilst giving sod all attention to the massive great Cup Final being held at the National Stadium attended by 80-90,000 people is beyond me.
I don't think everything is someone elses fault and RL is probably just as much to blame for its current position as anything else, but try and tell me there's no bias involved here when the fecking Womens Rugby World Cup is getting more news coverage than the Challenge Cup Final.

I have been amazed at the lack of coverage that the game has been given in the "southern" press this week. It has barely waranted a mention so far. I hope Thursday and Friday prove to be better. I do not know one person down here who is aware of the final at the moment. Ok it may be a "sell out" but we have heard that before. We should be bombarding the media with stories all week for what is our number one final traditionally.

At least the women's rugby union world cup is more hilarious than the usual bbc news sports round-up; football, football, football, and "now from our tennis correspondent..."
Seeing how is there only Andy Murray, the tennis correspondent's job is basically to follow him around under the pretense that anyone cares. Foregoing the fact several Super League matches were played on the same weekend.
Same old, same old.
