I have just been on Parra's LU website and there are strong rumours saying he is about to sign for the Eels. Would a yawnion player like him be a good signing for the NRL.

There are also rumours saying he might swap codes after the RUWC. Would he be a big loss for the wannabees would it hurt yawnion big time if that's the case roll on about 18 months.
All about money. if it did happen i would certainly find some amusement in the story after all the recent defections from league to union. Johnny Wilkinson to quins anyone?

We need him to stay as a Wallaby!
Plenty of time for him to cross over to League.
He would be an idiot if he left the Wallabies before getting to play in the world cup

All of these things will make him a cultural icon when his visa runs out and he is sent the way of his great grandparents....alas, not in chains this time.

It would be absolutely fantastic then if this happened. If this happens it could finallly put the nail in the coffin of yawnion in Australia full stop, party time.

He is a class act and would be a massive loss to the ARU. As has been mentioned, the ARU a building their team around him and I would be stunned if they didn't try to find the cash to keep him in Union. If not, he would be a cracking signing for the eels...quick feet and even faster hands....he could play in the halves and would prove a real handful.

800K+ for someone who hasn't played the game since high school? Never going to happen. Have to laugh at M. Elliott suggesting NRL should sign the Eagles skinny Fijian AFL player!
WEST COAST PIRATES NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......
