FFS is that what you really believe? They are always talking to the ref. If the ref chooses to ignore him he can, and often does, because he is the soul judge of what happens on field. All this terrace crap about "put your flag up linesman" is stupid.

They are mic'd up you fools!!!!!

there have been about 280 video refs decisions so far this year. about 10 have been very suss and might be proven to be wrong . NHL in northern america got sick of it and has gone to the big brother system . to get away from the on site pressure the video refs are under :D

So how come CLEAR forward passes are left uncalled by the ref? And by this I dont mean a suspect momentum decision or some border line ones I am talking the very obvious ones and there is at least one or two a game. You cant tell me the man in the middle just ignores the touch judge for these?

And a clear elbow to the head when on the floor while the ref is trying to sort out the off sides, surely this is where your miced up linesmen should be running onto the field waving his flag?

We're coming to make some noise!

and? doesn't mean they use them. i never saw the TJ speak once into his mic as the cru-catalan game.

since you seem so intent on defening the guy with the whistle explain how a ball dropped backwards is a knockon

I bet refs and TJs make less mistakes than, say, a player dropping the ball...

that depends whether you class a mistake as a giving a wrong decision or not making a decision when its required. if you count the latter it'll probably be a lot closer than you think
