Very good article , always thought that we should be a sport not afraid to play ' catchphrase ' and say what we see
Far too much bull and spin both in the sport , the administration of the dprot and most definatley on here

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Its only a good article because it is provocative
You dont hang your dirty washing out in any business and as an employee, particularly one with a media profile, you must respect your employers wishes.
He went on about Wigan/Saints getting 20000. Yes they would if we played a third match but if it wasn't for this extra ordinary event it wouldnt happen
He has a typical small mind mentality, what about the publicity RL got from the event, extra finances the RFL made to plough back into the game.........
James Graham should think himself lucky he has played on the big stages with saints and England unfortunately that special event doesn't come to all players, more a select few.
I suspect he has to write a weekly article and he is hardly going to go on week after week about saints falling standards. If he is so disgruntled with what he currently says then change and front up-be a man and say the opposition were sh*t if that makes you feel better and you think it will do the sport a world of good
I was Graham's biggest critic at the time of his comments. However, I do think that players should be encouraged to speak their mind - but they shouldnt complain when their idiotic views and opinions get criticised by the public at large.

Exactly right.
Wilkin is basically saying it's unfair for us to have a poor opinion of Graham's opinion. You can't have it both ways.
What a bizarre thing to write. As has been said above, nothing wrong with having an opinion, that's fine, but others are allowed a different view. Does he want no-one questioning the 'superstars'?
As he's in The Times and on the BBC, aren't there any other players intelligent enough to 'write' a column than Wilkin?
"I know guys that pay £25 for a facial up north"
"If that season review DVD was an A-level entry, it'd fail"
