I know we say it every season, but its "Heritage Round" here in Australia this week and the teams look great.

All clubs wear a traditional strip from their club's past and they're great to see.

The Super League and Co-op Championship should be doing the same.

It's a great marketing chance to flog a load of jerseys and gear and also run other events connected to the club's history.

Maybe for Murrayfield Magic 2010?

How about it?

I would have our heritage round as close to August 29 (when the game was formed) as possible although it does sit very close to the current challenge cup final date ( which i would have a month earlier anyway)

Alternatively the midpoint of the season may work.

But do you have a round or a heritage week so that every SL club gets 1 home game in the 2 rounds?

Perhaps it could be a heritage weekend on the second may bank holiday if the teams backed up 2 fixtures.

I wouldn`t designate it for MM mixing in 2 events.

I'd be up for it.

Although we have little heritage we could wear our black kit with huge St. David's Cross from our first season.

I quite liked that blue and white away kit you wore in the first year.

But most of us still wear the colours that we always have. Its not like in aus where you have a load of amalgamated sides with other (older) clubs being part of your history. Apart from quins maybe wearing the bronco's colours, I can't really see what we'd do differently to what we already do every week.

What about an Heritage round where clubs bring out a one off charity shirt for there selected charity, its becoming a trend and raise a lot of money for all different charities and awareness.

In the style of a traditional shirt. Everyone's a winner.
