Great game.

Awful video decision at the end which ruined the game.

Not what was needed. Everyone on the commentary's been knocked flat as they were clearly just gearing up for 'RL has answered its critics' revelry. Jamal Idris carrying himself well in the post-match though.

Bradford gave us Hockney, Leeds gave us Moyles.

if ever a try should never have been disallowed, that was it

Still, NRL doesn't need the crowd throwing things onto the pitch

This is why video refs are annoying these days - not just in Aus but here as well. When Sky brought it in back in 1996 it was simple. You checked for ball being grounded, whether the man was in touch and on/offside. Simple and it work simple for a long time. But as time as worn on we started looking at more and more technical issues in the field of play that shouldn't be the video refs role. Issues in goal is the video ref's role in my view (except for on/offside) - anything in the field of play should be down to the on field ref.

Got to agree Bilko. Video refs have to have a limited domain and on matters which are simple yes-no decisions. Things such as obstruction et al are all too subjective.

Exactly. It seems video refs have to be mind readers at times.

Awesome game this mornin, although as mentioned the no try at the end was a shocker! Had that of been Wigan v Saints and the call got given a no try I'd of been bloody gutted to say the least!

It seems to me that the video ref is looking more and more these days to not give the try rather than award it. You could see quite clearly that Eastwood had made no intention whatsoever trying to stop the player. It's a shame that this incident spoilled what was a great game.

winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11
