In terms of attendance, Toulouse is definitely bringing a good crowd to the competition, and it is on the rise. Here are the average home attendances in the Championship so far:
I think they are likely to bring more than 3,000 per match toward the end of the year, as the coverage of their results is increasing in local media (newspapers and TV).
Great crowd average and glad there getting some coverage in the local media. Hopefully, they can get into super league 2012. Is there any rivalry between Toulouse and Catalans would be good to have an all French super league tie.

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

No rivalry as the team cannot be compared yet. But put them in the same competition and you will have a hell of a derby. This will also be fostered by the fact that Toulouse and Perpignan are currently the two best teams in France in Rugby Union, so the locals will not have a hard time to find such a derby relevant and exciting.

hopefully the winning of trophies will have some say at the next franchise i am hoping fax can win something this year and maybe next and the year after but if these are not taken into account alot i can see no matter what we do over the next 3 years toulouse and widnes getting put in.
Not a bit of wonder their average is so good. I was at the Haven game there would be lucky if there was a thousand there never mind 2300. Probably only a fraction of that paid. No doubt the RFL will hold the crowd figures up as a good indicator of the interest in the area blah blah.
If they gave the true figures out they would be a lot further down that table. Just like Celtic Crusaders last year exaggerating everything to get their franchise.
