Quote:Radlinski entered cup folklore as his string of extraordinary try-saving tackles won the cup for Wigan in a 32-16 victory and Lindsay his bet.

The score was 21-12.

Many thanks to the Wigan fans who brought this to my attention on the blog. The only excuse I can offer is that the copy was posted early inadvertently before final checks. A procedural cock up, i.e. some Clever Dick thought he knew better than me about the 2002 score. As you can see now the story has been corrected. Radlinski and the 2002 final remains one of my greatest cup memories.
Enjoy the Magic Weekend.
