I'd say that one too, especially when watching the game back and French said the time keeper had his finger ready to blow for full time :(

Easy.

Les Quirk 1989 Challenge Cup Semi.

This is history. This is history. Right here. Right now. This is history.

I thought it was Widnes?
All games are winnable, whats hard to understand about that.

Wakefield turn over a big club every season and i see no reason why Widnes can't do the same.
bulldogs scored in the corner to grab the lead and win in the last minute . major semi .it stoped parra eels from making there 1st grand final . and 99 grand final last minute

winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

Cougars v Warrington in the Regal trophy (I think).

Couugars were winning with seconds to go.

Wire were getting near the line but no matter what the Cougar defence held them out.

The they gave the ball to a player in an impossible situation.

There was no way the player could score, the number of defenders was immense and only a genius player could get through.

Stand up Jonathon Davies.

He had no right to score that try, the defence was that good but he did. He jinked, weaved and showed quick acceleration leaving the defenders grasping fresh air.

No one else could have scored that try and even though it cost the Cougars the game the applause from both sets of supporters was brilliant.

One of the best players ,IMHO, ever to play the game.

regards
and ENJOY your sport
