winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

They should be stood down, but im annoyed that the Roosters are now going to miss both these guys. Stupid guys who have let down the team. Well at least the Roosters are going well in one league, 'The most guys suspended due to drunken incidents'

Yea he's getting a couple of starts for Newtown Jets, not heard too much about him tbh. Doubt he'll see the colours of a Roosters jersey anytime soon though...

Tansey scored 2 tries in his 1st 2 games for the Jets. He is starting 5/8 there. To be fair though he only got in the Leeds team as a back up and played in about 5 different positions last season so I feel he may struggle to secure a spot. Still, 22, single and getting paid to play reserve footy in Sydney. I wish I had that opertunity

He did make the top squad though. Maybe he will play a few games this season. He is a skillful player but after watching him at Leeds I feel half back is his best position. My only gripe with him is that he isnt a team player and takes on the line more than he should.
