You get good games and bad games in both codes. I’ve enjoyed some Union matches over the years but I much prefer league because it is what I was bough up on. I will still only turn a Union game on if its internationals. Other than that I wouldn’t bother watching the likes of Leeds Tykes and they southern friends.

Well, I suppose that's one way of looking at it. Another is that it's good, I think, to hear other voices other than my own on the blog. The students, some from a league background but most not, bring a different perspective - and one, I hope, that's worth listening to.

Pro-Unionites given free space on the Times RL blog to talk our game down? Well, I can't say it's what I'd use it for.

I got interviewed by some stoodents before the game, good job it wasnt after

Tragically, they went to a very poor game, if they had been at the Saints game the week before they would perhaps have had a different opinion.

And with regards to the unionite who actuall likes rucks and mauls, well I think he has been rucked in the head once too often...

Having played both codes in the forwards, how anyone can prefer to watch or play union is beyond me.

Very disappointing to draw people into that oh so boring debate on an RL blog. Im not interested in RU fan's opinions on my game any more than i'm interested in a badminton fan's opinion on my game.
