Personally, the idea of 25,000 in Wheldon Rd is almost as frightening as the idea of 104,000 in Odsal Crater …
Doubt everything, even this

Word on the street is that over 17,000 once crammed into Post Office Road (or was it the Jimmy Saville Stadium in those days).
I might have heard something.

kcab sfrawdder Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Huddersfield,s record is
The highest attendance at Fartown to watch a Huddersfield game was 32,912 against Wigan on the 4 March 1950.
This figure is disputed by HKR fans as they feel it is exceeded every time they visit the Galpharm

35,695 vs Wigan, 26th December 1949
I really have no idea how they all fit into Knowsley Road though.
