Thackray doesn't offer that much impact. King offers virtually none. Moa is a complete unknown. Manu is not a prop.
If you watch us play you'll see how little impact we get from our props and how we struggle to get any go-forward even against sides with relatively small packs.

Moa was signed before Lauaki was known to be available. Now we have Lauaki I'd say he was probably surplus to requirements, but he only has a one year contract and wasn't seen as a definite first-team player anyway.

Very unlikely. As stated, Moa is an unknown and the plan was to just take a look at him and see how he went this season. I doubt he'll get much, if any, game time unless we have a lot of injuries. Plus Dowes is always going to get a starting spot.
Bear in mind we have also signed Maloney - a young English prop we hope will feature strongly for us in the future.
