The point I was making, especially with the Saints reasoning, was that it was dubious at best. The teams are very close, the margins between good and bad performances of teams make result predictions a very cloudy area.

As I said, the teams are very close and results hard to predict. We have been absolutely woeful on TV this year as a rule, especially at home, so it could happen.
Wire could quite easily hand you your a4ses on a plate if you don't turn up and that's the beauty of the league this season.

Ignoring the fact that it won't happen, what would it really matter what the crowd was? Whoever gets there on merit deserves the day out and the crowd is not important. Be there 40,000 or 70,000 what happens on the pitch is what counts, nothing else. |
