When Parramatta won 3 Premierships in a row in the eighties.
The ground held 28k and averaged around 20k.
The ground now holds over 21k the ground record is 21,141 (2006)

no they didnt.

all this information is somewhere on rleague where they do crowd averages by year.

from memory id be surprised if they even averaged 15,000 when the won 4 competitions in the 1980s.

My mistake it was 1986 when the new stadium kicked in.
Average crowd 20,326.

and note it also involves 16 teams as well unlike the 14 of 1998 to the early 2000.

total crowds are up quite a bit

indeed our total crowds with 16 teams are as high as when we had 20 teams in 1995

parra got 11,100 or so vs canberra

dragons got 20,847 vs sharks

souths got 15,400 odd for newcastle

titans got around 20,000 for dogs

tigers got 14,500 for roosters
