I feel a bit sorry for Fielden. Things are said in the heat of the moment when tensions are high. If it hadnt been captured on camera there wouldnt be this fuss.

Some players are over-hyped just because they are made to look better than they are playing in a successful team. Fielden is a prime example.

When Leeds signed Jamie Peacock, nearly every fan moaned about the fact that they wish we'd signed Fielden instead. I told people at the time that Peacock is an inspirational leader (remember Bulls winning run to the 2005 GF?). Since then, Fielden has been exposed as a less than average player when playing in a mediocre team.

Paleasena (?) and Hock are truly world-class forwards...Fielden is an embarassment. I think Noble only plays him to justify the huge wages and transfer fee they paid.

On a seperate note I think Calderwood may also be in trouble after having a go at the ref and TJ. He was also clearly heard swearing on the ref's mic.

I think the referee did hear it, as Feilden was taken to one side pretty much straight after the incident.

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

Or someone told the ref what he said, after they had watched the replay.

Personally i don't think the ref heard it as such, when fielden got pulled over before the re-start(and you probably didn't see this on sky as bridge lined up the kick) he was having a right pop at the Touchies behind the sticks and was seperate from the wigan huddle. He's probably said something ott at that point as well.

You might want to read what you just wrote about some players being over hyped :D

Hock has attitude and discipline problems that seriously undermine his undoubted talent, whilst the fat bloke can't do more than 20 minutes across 2 spells, a world class prop needs a lot more than that.

Morley tried to smash an 18 year old mcIllorum once and came off second best and had to go off injured.

Yeah, total guv'nor
